The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications at the moment are open and can shut on fifteen December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house that has a combined gross domestic earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined house profits would not exceed R600 000 per annum.
