SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed in regards to the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The service stage produced for intervention encounters a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to allow the servicing of all customers and raise access website to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
